It’s fun and challenging. Competing against others in the tiered league structure is rewarding when you win (and of course, it sucks when you lose haha). My favorite part about the game are the continual updates and improvements. This ties into my second favorite part of the game which is being able to interact with the creator and help shape the game going forward. Check it out if you are...[Read More]
enough said .. best game period.
In a mere six months there is so much that has been added to this game it has become hard to keep up. Hats of to the four man tech-team over at Studio Qi. Playing both their game regularly now. Kickoff Legends is definitely worth checking out. The best part is off course playing another player live. But tweaking and managing your team, qualifying for the leagues is definitely a good challenge too.
While MLB Manager is a fun game and does fill a huge hole in my personal gaming wishlist (I’ve been a fan of OOTP for years,) it does leave a lot to be desired. There is a lot to love about this game: It has accurate rosters for both the majors and minor leagues (I’m pretty sure down to rookie ball!) Stats are calculated using the same engine as OOTP In fact, everything is pretty much ...[Read More]
Looked good on first glance but wasn’t that great at the end. + Good looking (but not great) compared to other games of it’s kind + Draft Menu gives you the feel of being at the draft + Great for online play +/- One of the few games that has the game animated, but it doesn’t give you the feeling of seeing your players, since it doesn’t animate everything. Kickoffs/Punts/Dro...[Read More]
One of the best sim games of all time, sorry no fancy graphics, very customizable with Rosters and Teams. If you watch the game you can subs, bench your stars. If you get tired of a player ,trade them. With scouting you can find the next LeBron, add them to you next draft.and get them with 2nd round pick. I love it..
Been playing this game for several years, its not your glorious big name fantasy baseball league but it is truly a fantasy game, you can draft a guy like Oscar Flowers with your #1 pick because you like attributes that he has develop him in the minor leagues and watch how he turns out, maybe after 20 seasons a guy you developed will be in the hall of fame. The game moves fast seasons range 1 and 2...[Read More]
Franchise Ball is simply ahead of the curve. Ive played many other baseball sims, and nothing compares to the interface here. Very innovative game, new features always coming out too.
don’t come here – as soon as the season was due to start it wouldn’t let me log in – said my e-mail address didn’t exist !!!!! – STAY AWAY
I am completely blown away by the quality of this game. It sure has a lot that it can improve upon, but what it already has is fantastic, and for the low, low price of $0, it sure competes with all of the other college football simulators.
My friends and I haven’t stopped playing this game since it came out. There’s no actual football gameplay. But building up a team to become an unstoppable multi-decade dynasty is incredibly fun. The game is simple enough to be easy to get into and complex enough to make mastering it feel within reach. When you start out, you simply choose your school. Most big name schools are there si...[Read More]
A solid management game – sims quickly – well thought out for player development – works well as a freemium type game – you can have a good team without paying a cent, but it is always easier if you have cash (as it should be). The Nuklheads (my team) have done about 20 seasons of this league and it keeps me interested.
