Anyone who comes to this game wants to love it. We all miss the days when EA gave us NCAA football games. Most of us just want to recruit and build a dynasty from the ground up. Well, to some extent you can do that with this game. However, eventually you begin to see the glaring flaws. The fact that penalties seem to strike your team in a “cheesy” type of way. If you delve into the pla...[Read More]
Very realistic baseball sim that plays a season out in about 40 days. You takeover an existing team then sign contracts, draft players, make trades, and sign free agents while staying under a salary cap. You are the GM and Manager obtaining players and setting lineups. This game is loads of fun but be warned it’s addicting. The chat community is great for getting help while learning the game and d...[Read More]
I’ve been playing for almost 5 years now, and I’m still hooked. The game has evolved and continues to do so. The community is great, there are some real characters. If you haven’t checked it out, you are missing out.
Tried a dozen & this is the best way to manage a team and learn quickly from a sim every 3 hours.
I’ve enjoyed Mike’s game since PTP days. The quirkiness the this game matches MLB quite well, I mean that in a good way. The private leagues and tournaments have facilitated the making of new friendships. Clearly created and run by people as passionate about baseball as I am.
I have been playing baseball games since 1972. I have played and tried them all. I have play tested some. NONE of any of the other games comes close to the realism, playability, and most of all Fun of Dynasty League Baseball. You are in charge of every decision, with each at bat. I feel like Sparky Anderson out there. This game will go down in baseball lore. This is the gold standard. To quote a g...[Read More]
your team will play too many games in a day ..like 8 or 9 , players get hurt & you have 2 check before every game if u need to change a hurt player or not …TAKES TOO MUCH TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY
Excellent game. I’ve been playing it since it first debuted in the 80’s as Pursue the Pennant. Most realistic baseball game out there in my opinion. The PC version makes it easy and fun to play in leagues or do replays of seasons or specific teams.
I like this game, passes the time! Currently looking for players lvl 40+ to join my syndicate search- *MAD DOGS* ask to join
I’ve followed this product since its PFS days. While this game has always had a ton of potential, and does a lot of things I like, it has always been dogged by annoyances that have never been fixed. Late game logic just kills this thing for me. I’ve seen a trailing team let 20-30 seconds run off the clock after a short gain. This kind of thing spoils the simulation for me…Also, I...[Read More]
Great game and it is definitely worth every penny.
First off, if the concept of an NFL simulator game doesn’t appeal to you you can move along. This was made for a very specific audience that I happen to be a member of, and it doesn’t go out of its way (nor does it need to) to be anything other than what it is: An NFL simulator. With that out of the way, what we’ve got here is the best balance in a pro football simulator between ...[Read More]
