A downloadable game for Windows

Download NowName your own price

Preface: This game is still in early alpha stages. It is fairly stable but please take that into consideration.

IFM is a general manager-style game for indoor football fans on Windows PC computers. This game can be played in single player but is likely much more fun when you play versus your friends in an online league (hosting/ftp is required and not provided). The game guide can be found in the install directory for the game (usually Program Files/IFMDev/ unless you changed the directory). There may be some items that are not available within the game. I am a full-time employee working on this game in limited free time. I will work to fix bugs and add new elements to the game in that limited free time, so please be patient with me as I work on this huge project alone. I cannot promise weekly updates, but I will do my best to fix bugs and post an update at least monthly.  Please note; there is a minimum resolution requirement of 1366x768.

This game is in active development (and is very likely a long way from being completed) and the files currently posted are from the alpha version.  Please report any issues/bugs with the game to: indoorfootballdev@gmail.com

Note: I may be looking for an associate developer that is familiar with C# and WPF; feel free to email me at the email address provided if you are interested in assisting with the development of Indoor Football Manager.

Hey Rob OIFLer here (JMM, Dallas & MXC) working on a project. I'm guessing the import button must have an xml file? Thank man

Hey JMM,

It's csv and you can get an example by exporting to csv in league settings.

What does it mean when the IFM_Log says 'System.Exception'

I tried to "fix stats" and I got this error.

Is there a reason you used that button? I put it in there for a league that had some issues, it's really just a developer button lol. Side note: the log file is meant for me. When your game crashes or helps me figure out what happened.

Basically I had to force quit the game while it was simulating. But the game ended up simulating my team's game that week AND saving the game somehow. But I noticed that the game did not record my teams stats for that game in the season stats, although those numbers are all there in the game stats. So my teams season total stats is missing a game now.

Would you email the .ifm file to me at indoorfootballdev@gmail.com?

Seems like my PC thinks the download is a virus so I can't get the game to launch unfortunately.

You may have to whitelist the application in your antivirus to get it to launch. You can also check your firewall to ensure it's permitted there as well.

Thanks! I got it to work eventually.

I really like the game! I knew this game was for me and that it was still under development but it really feels like its not far from an OOTP style Indoor Football game.

Training players makes it feel like you are really developing a squad. I like there there are stats about first downs and TD percentages. Run game is very viable, especially since you can really double down on training blocking in WRs too. You can focus on other things too like carry to keep fumbles low. It just adds a lot of control in how your team grows and I have no doubt this makes multiplayer very competitive.

I do think the kick returns seem to be a bit above average compared to the numbers in the current Indoor Football League, at least for yards per return (the KR TD's seem to be similar to IFL tho). My current game has average returns from 15-23 yards with 19 being about average and half of my leagues returners sitting at 19 and several over 20. The IFL is more like 14-18 with an average being about 15. Just something I noticed after about 8 weeks of a season.

The kicker struggle is dead on. My very accurate kicker still misses XP attempts, which feels very Indoor Football.

Anyways thanks for making this game. I think it would be cool to choose longer regular seasons and have total team stats that can be compared to other teams but the game as it is works well.

That's great. I'm glad you're enjoying it and thanks a ton for the feedback!

Is there a spectator mode in this game? I don't want to run a team, I just want to simulate a league.

Hi Nicholas,

There is no 'spectator mode'. You can leave your team strategy alone, auto set the depth chart, and have your 'assistant' do signings during the offseason and resign your players during the season (these options are found in the Info section for your Manager). But, you do have to create a manager to play the game.

I will consider adding such a feature in the future, though!

Just had to leave a comment.  This game is AMAZING. Yes it is Alpha stag right now, BUT the devloper is VERY hands on.  We have a league  that just started its second season. We have chatted with Rob constantly. He listens to every little thing we bring up. Like what could be added or what bugs we found. If you look at the different version he has to upload you can see the progression. We had some stats that seemed out of whack. he adjusted them . We had some ideas of things that had been missing from the game. He worked with us, and Boom they are in the game. This game is great . It's probably the only Indoor game out there that is pure indoor football.  If you're a fan of football, and especially indoor, you have to try this game. I'm sure you will love it like I do.

Hey MSO94,

Thanks so much for the kind words! I am here for anything anyone needs or wants to see in the game. I'm always open to the interpretation of current features and new features requests alike. Anything you all need, let me know!
