3. User-submitted content
GM Games hosts content submitted by community members including reviews, ratings, forum posts, and downloadable files contributed by third parties. We make reasonable efforts to ensure submitted content is appropriate and does not infringe third-party rights, but we cannot review every submission in advance.
If you believe any user-submitted content on this site infringes your intellectual property rights, please use the takedown process described below.
4. Downloads
Files available through the downloads section of this site are provided for personal, non-commercial use. They include:
- Files officially released as freeware by their original developers
- Community-created mods, patches, and utilities for legacy sports management games
- Files submitted by community members
GM Games does not claim ownership of any downloadable file created by a third-party developer or community contributor. If you are the rights holder of any downloadable file and have not authorised its distribution, please contact us at [email protected] and we will remove it promptly.
5. Copyright takedown process
GM Games respects intellectual property rights and responds promptly to legitimate takedown requests. To submit a takedown request, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Copyright Takedown Request and include the following information:
Required information for a takedown request
- Your name and contact details (email address and, if applicable, organisation name)
- A description of the copyrighted work or trade mark you believe has been infringed
- The specific URL or URLs on gmgames.org where the allegedly infringing content appears
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, where relevant, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the identified content, contacting the content contributor, or seeking further information before acting.
Please note that submitting a false or misleading takedown request may have legal consequences. We reserve the right to disregard requests that do not include the required information or that appear to be made in bad faith.
6. Counter-notice process
If content you submitted to GM Games has been removed following a takedown request and you believe the removal was made in error or based on a misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] with the subject line Copyright Counter-Notice.
Your counter-notice should include:
- Your name and contact details
- Identification of the content that was removed and the URL where it previously appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia for any dispute arising from the counter-notice
7. Repeat infringement
GM Games maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
