The developer seems very self-sustained. This is his only “job”, and the apparently very large user base and extremely low server costs indicate to me that the game will be around for a very long time. If you’re like me, you always dread the day that a game suddenly stops. This is worry-free.
The developer seems very organized, and he is very accessible and involved in Discord. Improvements come at a pleasing pace, changes are well documented, and questions get answered rapidly. The community is very involved, and their ideas for the game do not fall on deaf ears.
Oh yeah, what about the game itself? Create as many leagues as you like, and you can customize the heck out of it. The flow of a season seems natural, and so it’s immersive. Play at your own pace, or check out multiplayer news on the Discord. I’ve tried a bunch of football sims, and I’d be hard-pressed to think of a better one. Just do it.
