I’ve played this game for years, and I love it.  It’s had its up and downs over the 12 years I’ve played, but it has never diminished my enjoyment. I have played purchasing playbooks, and played without, and not having playbooks is no hindrance.   So like any sports sim, remember it’s a sim and not real life, and you’ll find lots of enjoyment here.

This game is broken. We had one update that completely derailed the Game. For the last four seasons there had been no off-season progression. DeepRoute is the best NFL style football sim around, and it’s FREE! Well not totally free but free if you want it to be. As a rookie you can manage 1 team completely free. DR is a great game, lately being improved upon. A lot of fun once you get started. You get to be the owner gm and coach! You make the hiring decisions, set contracts and draft boards. I joined DeepRoute a little over a year ago and am completely hooked.  The game and GM functions are great, the developer is very available on the chat boards, and the community feel in the leages is really cool.

Been playing this game for about 5 years now, and its extremely fun, and that makes it extremely addictive as a result. Building/Rebuilding your team from the wreckage of a previous owner can be meticulous and done from the draft, trying to spot the potential gems with those late draft picks. Really great game with a terrific community. There are a couple features (like a live draft) that would make DeepRoute a 10/10.

I have been involved with Deep Route since 2009. To say it’s the best football sim is an understatement! Realistic, challenging, fun with a great community.
