College Basketball Manager

College Basketball Manager is a college basketball coaching simulation where you take control of a program and manage it across multiple seasons. You recruit high school players and transfers, set your rotation and practice schedule, design offensive and defensive schemes, and manage your coaching staff and budget.

The simulation models individual player development through practice, game performance, and satisfaction. Players have ratings across dozens of attributes that change based on how they're trained, how much they play, and how happy they are with their situation. Coaches have their own ratings and unlockable skills that affect everything from player development to recruiting effectiveness to program prestige.

Recruiting is built around a pitch system where your school is graded on factors like playing time, proximity to home, program prestige, and championship potential. You scout recruits, make calls, arrange visits, and compete against other programs for commitments. Transfer portal players are also available and follow the same system.

Finances are managed through a budget system covering staff salaries, player NIL contracts, recruiting spending, and ticket pricing. Programs opted into revenue sharing distribute NIL money across their roster, with budgets scaled to program prestige and football program revenue. Player contract satisfaction affects morale and development, and the AI will automatically adjust contracts throughout the season if enabled.

Comprehensive records are tracked across every season, including player and team stats, awards, coaching career histories, game results, recruiting class rankings, and program-level metrics like prestige, TV exposure, and championship contention. These records persist across your entire save and are viewable at any time.
