One of the few sim games that divides MLB into different eras prior to expansion in 1961. The Ruthian Era (1920-39) provides the most realistic player results on the whole, but the Deadball Era (1871-1919) is the most fun, though as a 19c baseball historian I would prefer to see this era split into 1871-1900 (1900 being the last major league season prior to the adoption of the foul strike rule in the National League–the only major league at the time) and 1901 (the arrival of the American League as a competitor to the NL) through 1919, the last year prior to Ruth’s emergence as the game’s first slugger extraordinaire.
